All My Life Are Data

It becomes apparent to anyone familar with Qualitative Inquiry that there are so much data to our lives. Further thought yields the conclusion that life can be considered one big Action Research Project.

I must admit, having worn the hat of Qualitative Researcher (Observer-Participant, etc...) that I often view my life this way. I am conscious of the significant data that exist surrounding the key events/conflicts/problems/successes of each day.

Always, the central questions are:
What is there to be learned here?
For what purpose?
What was/is my role?
Should changes (personal/professional) be pursued as a result of analyzing the existing data?

I wonder how many others think this way.
